Territory Sales Executive

LO5199 Home based

£16-19k base - £30k OTE

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

To take ownership and effectively service a territory of Independent retailer outlets and existing agents to deliver agreed sales volumes across the range of our products with the primary objective of business development to both the retailer and us. There may from time to time, be a need for the TSE to support coverage of calls in another area notice will be given.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To identify the key decision maker by outlet and develop strong sales relationships with agents and retailers in defined territory to ensure a face to face selling opportunity is realised in every call.
  • To deliver against defined sales targets agreed each week, month and quarter.
  • To journey plan effectively, prioritising calls providing the greatest opportunity to deliver sales for core products.
  • To comprehensively plan and prepare for each call, ensuring SMART objectives are set for each outlet each visit with a view of continually developing retailer business and our presence.
  • To follow our in call procedure.
  • To review transactions/business data provided to identify areas of opportunity, underperforming agents and track personal performance against KPIs.
  • To utilise all sales tools provided.
  • To attend and participate in monthly Sales meetings.
  • To deal with and resolve where possible, any queries and complaints encountered in the field where appropriate referring issues to your RSM.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Achievement of agreed weekly, monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Contribution (ideas, involvement at team meetings) to achieving Regional and National objectives.
  • Standard of work, in particular completion of contracts and paperwork.
  • 100% accuracy when using Q1 device to record calls made, achievements and other specified information, communicating electronically back to us on a 24 hour basis.
  • High personal conduct and appearance to reflect the professionalism of our Retail Services Field Team
  • Effective territory and time management

MEASURABILITY

  • Accuracy of all contracts received and internal reports
  • Field accompaniments, monthly 1:1s and six monthly review/annual appraisal
  • Attendance record
  • Paperwork produced by TSE
  • Observation

Experience/Qualifications required

  • Full valid driving licence and use of a car 5 days a week
