Job Description
Commis Chef WANTED! - £14.5K- Buckinghamshire - One Rosette and heading for TWO!
Located in a stunning converted Georgian mansion hotel this restaurant produces delicious contemporary cuisine for lunch and dinner. Catering for lots of business lunches, this establishment is also popular with local tourists at weekends. The one rosette restaurant is looking to gain a second rosette in the coming year which means this kitchen will provide an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for a talented Commis Chef.
The responsibilities of this Commis Chef position will include:
* Maintaining the high standards of this restaurant
* Supporting senior chefs as required
* Preparing food prior to service
* Working effectively as part of a dedicated team
* Taking part in training and skill development
The working pattern for Commis Chef will be five days out of seven as and when the business requires. The standard number of hours will be approximately forty per week.
Candidates for this Commis Chef position must have a sound grounding in good culinary establishments. You must be hardworking and determined to progress in your career, learning from example and through experience. You must be organised and motivated with high standards and attention to detail. You must be committed to your chosen career and display skill and enthusiasm in everything you do.
