Job Description
IT Sales Executive / Sales Account Manager - SME IT Services
Marlow, Buckinghamshire
Basic £25,000 (OTE £43,000)
Founded in 2002 we provide IT support to businesses of between 2 and 200 users across London and the South East including support, upgrades, migrations, and relocations.
IT Sales Executive / Sales Account Manager Role Summary:
To work within a developing sales team as a profit centre within the team;
• Generating own leads
* Cold calling and booking appointments
* Building prospect pipeline
* Attending meetings /managing diary efficiency
* Managing revenue / new customer pipeline
* Accountability for profitability
* Support team colleagues and ethos
Reporting to and working alongside the Acting Sales Manager and Commercial Director
Although we expect the sales executive to be self-serving the following will support will be provided:
* Company database
* Marketsafe provided data availability
* Other members of sales team
* Commercial Director
* Soft marketing (website / local PR)
Our IT professional services, including, pre-pay and fixed price support contracts. Services are documented in brochure format, with inserts, so the sales presentation is effectively from a brochure, with minimal follow up documentation, increasing possible prospect volumes.
The objective is to win new customers, either by selling a pre-pay time taster or fixed price contract.
Once won, the customer will be managed by the commercial management team, so no account management ongoing to detract from new business generation.
IT Sales Executive / Sales Account Manager Requirements:
• Driving license and own transport
* Experience in IT sales (most probably VAR)
* Proven track record in achieving new business sales targets (account management background less appealing)
* Internal only or mixed background (if Internal only, must be demonstrable ready to go outside the office)
* Solutions / Services selling experience
* SME customer/prospect focus
